Samsung SM-G906A is Galaxy S5 Prime

De Samsung SM-G906A zal vanaf de lancering gaan draaien op Android versie 4.4.3. Dat blijkt uit een screenshot die vandaag is verschenen op een Chinese sociale media website. Dit toestelnummer dook eind mei al eerder op in een AnTuTu benchmark resultaat. Het screenshot onthult naast het besturingssyteem ook de naam van het toestel, namelijk Galaxy S5P, waarbij de ‘P’ hoogstwaarschijnlijk staat voor Prime. Er bestaat dus een grote kans dat het toestel dus niet onder de naam Galaxy F op de markt zal komen.

De premium versie van de Galaxy S5 zal volgens de laatste geruchten worden aangekondigd volgende maand om vervolgens in september in de winkels te liggen.

Samsung SM-G906A will run on Android version 4.4.3 at the release. This confirms a screenshot that has been published today on the Chinese website Weibo. This model number surfaced a couple of months ago on a AnTuTu benchmark <a href="http://www.antutu.com/view.shtml?id=7857″ target=”_blank”>result. The screenshot reveals besides the operating system, the name of the device, namely Galaxy S5P, where the P stands for Prime. There is therefore a high probability that the device will not come on the market as the Galaxy F.

It is expected that the premium version of the Galaxy S5 will be announced next month and will be in stores from September.
